New Reference Tool For Dermatology Residents
A new research tool designed to help residents gain access to the latest clinical information was recently launched by two dermatologic surgeons, Drs. Ashish Bhatia and Girish Munavalli. The new product is called Dermland and it presents dermatology residents with an opportunity to share and receive the latest information on clinical dermatology from differential diagnoses to “Board Pearls” and mnemonics. Dermland can be accessed through any Palm-OS-based computers, pocket PCs or any Internet-ready computer.
According to Dr. Munavalli, the system works if dermatology residents log on and share information. Dermland provides the platform that allows residents to share the information that is reviewed by a practicing dermatologist.
Dermland is provided free of charge for residents as a result of a contribution from Ferndale Laboratories Inc., in an effort to advance the practice of dermatology worldwide.
