Dear Readers,

Here at Skin & Aging, we’re busy planning ahead for 2009 — looking for new ways to continue to bring you, our readers, articles that provide clinical tips, insight into new treatments, and tips for better managing your practices. As we work to put our plan together, I feel lucky to work with such a talented staff, editorial board and group of regular contributors. I am also happy to take this opportunity to introduce you to a new member of our team, Group Publisher Steve Gephart, who can further help us with our goal of providing you with a quality issue each month.

A Word From our New Publisher

It is with great pleasure that I have accepted the position of publisher of Skin & Aging. For the past 2 years, I have had the honor of being the Group Publisher of two other HMP titles: Annals of Long-Term Care and Clinical Geriatrics. Although I will miss working on those two fantastic publications and the enthusiastic and dedicated team I was fortunate to be a part of, I am thrilled about this tremendous opportunity to work with a new staff just as dedicated and hard working at Skin & Aging.

I truly am blessed to be moving from one great opportunity to another, and I thank HMP’s executive management for this.

As Publisher, I promise to fully support our editorial staff in their current mission of providing you with the most practical and clinically relevant information available in the marketplace. I also will continue the former publisher’s mission of providing additional cutting-edge educational opportunities, such as The Miami Review, and Connections, HMP’s new practice-management meeting launching in September 2009.

Additionally, in my role as Publisher, I hope to engage you more fully. Many of our best ideas at HMP come from our loyal readers. We at Skin & Aging continue to welcome your input. I personally invite you to e-mail us with your thoughts and opinions about Skin & Aging, as well as advice on what we could do to make the journal more valuable to you in your practice.

You can reach me at sgephart@hmpcommunciations.com. Our editorial staff also welcomes your feedback. Feel free to contact Executive Editor Stefanie Tuleya (stuleya@hmpcommunicaitons.com), or Senior Editor Ellen Meyer (emeyer@hmpcommunications.com) with your questions or comments.

Sincerely,
Steve Gephart
